Juventus cut Chelsea's way to his star

Juventus are trying to renew his star contract, fearing Chelsea's greed to join him, next summer.

Juventus made a bid for his left back, Alex Sandro, to extend his five-year contract with an annual salary of 6.28 million pounds, the same salary as Chelsea offered to join him in the past Mercato.

Sandro has been one of Juventus' most prominent players in the last two seasons and has become an international player in Brazil. He played in the last World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, with Real Madrid player Marcelo suffering from injury.

According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian will sign his new contract with Juventus in November.
