Martinez worries Manchester United about Fillaini

Manchester United's Marwan Villaini has suffered knee damage after being injured in the Bosnia-Herzegovina match, coach Roberto Martinez said on Monday.

"We are all concerned about Marwan Villaini, and we fear there will be damage in Rabat," the British sports network Sky Sports quoted a statement by coach Martinez. "Villaini is suffering from a cruciate ligament injury.

The Belgian team has announced that Villaini will not be out of action for only two weeks after injury on Saturday against Bosnia and Herzegovina and left the match in the ninth round of the World Cup qualifiers and ended Belgium's victory 4-3.

Villaini is due to miss Belgium on Tuesday against Cyprus and will also miss Manchester United's match against Liverpool on Saturday.

Further checks will be made for the Belgian international on his return to Manchester United to find out details of the injury more accurately and determine the duration of the absence and the quality of injury suffered.
